Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about ordering authentic Georgian wines and spirits.
What makes Georgian wine unique compared to other regions?
Georgia is recognized as the 'Cradle of Wine' with over 8,000 years of history. Our wines are unique due to the traditional Qvevri method—fermenting grapes in large underground clay vessels—and the use of indigenous grape varieties like Saperavi and Rkatsiteli that aren't found anywhere else in the world.
How do you ensure the wine is not damaged during shipping?
We use specialized, reinforced eco-friendly packaging designed specifically for glass bottles. This minimizes movement and provides high impact resistance to ensure your wine arrives in perfect condition.
Do I need to be home to sign for my delivery?
Yes. Since we are shipping alcoholic beverages, all deliveries require a signature from an adult of legal drinking age (21+ in the US, or 18+ depending on your local country's laws).
What is your return policy if I receive a 'corked' or damaged bottle?
We stand by the quality of our selection. If you receive a bottle that is physically damaged or suffering from cork taint, please contact our support team within 14 days of delivery for a replacement or a full refund.
Do you offer international shipping?
Currently, we ship to most EU countries, the UK, and the United States. Please check our shipping page for a full list of eligible regions and information regarding local customs duties and taxes.
Are your wines organic or natural?
Many of our boutique Georgian winemakers follow organic and biodynamic practices. We have a dedicated 'Natural Wines' section for those looking for wines produced with minimal intervention and no added sulfites.
